I am very excited to be President of the Society. We have many programs planned on a wide range of subjects as well as participating in other community events. We have been hard at work maintaining and updating our buildings and collections of artifacts, as well as reaching out to the community to join us in our efforts.

I would like to thank Nancy Zorena, Past President, who served a term of 10 years! Nancy has done a tremendous and tireless job and we appreciate all she has done for the Society. We are happy to have her remain on the board as our Collections Manager. Nancy will lead us as we continue on the journey of archiving our artifacts utilizing the PastPerfect software. This process will help us to call up on the computer any item in our collection and be able to find it in our storage area with ease as well as to share the history of each item with all.

We still have spots open on our board and would love for you to join us! Please feel free to contact me of your interest in joining our board, ideas for programs or with any suggestions or questions you may have.

Sincerely,
Karen Cardi
President 2011
